Straps for the Silks Artist By Sebastian Rojas
Unconventional straps flow inspired by silks. Be prepared to think outside of the box in this choreography and sequencing inspired workshop. Work through familiar shapes and obscure transitions and a few that are only possible without a silks tail in your way! Prerequisites: Inverts from the ground and footlocks
Sebastian Rojas (@aregularpieceofasparagus) I started off as a martial artist in 2003 and began teaching after I obtained my black belt in 2008. Martial arts has given me an understanding of the body and awareness that easily translated to aerials. I found my passion for rope and straps and developed my own teaching style based on dynamic movement and technique. My goal has been to bring both of these apparatuses into the spotlight in the metro Detroit area.
