Continuing with our long tradition of hijinks and circus antics, The Detroit Flyhouse recently participated in a game of good old switcheroo! During their spring tour, Chris Martin and Chris Phillips of IAMDYNAMITE stopped by Grovebox Studios Detroit likely expecting a friendly chat and perhaps some dinner and drinks. Instead they got a private lesson at the Flyhouse in fire eating, aerial acrobatics, trapeze and "a little bit of trust touching"! Check out the video to get a glimpse of the fun that was had. In early June Micha and Ania, two of our Detroit Flyhouse powerhouse instructors, headed west to Santa Fe, New Mexico to learn new acro (partner yoga) and duo trapeze moves. Working with the super talented Colleen Mckeown and Cat Bodnar of Circus Duo-Allezella (circusduo.com) and Wise Fool New Mexico (wisefoolnewmexico.org) our fearless performers spent several intense days perfecting moves with fun names like Volvan and High Dog. There was even time to visit with former instructor and troupe member Kristy!

The experience was beyond amazing! In fact, Micha had such a great time that she's going back for more. Later this month she will head back to Santa Fe, this time taking Matt and Mike along for the fun! Check back with us for an update on their training.
