Find Your Place in a Class at Detroit Flyhouse
Whether you’re stepping into the air for the first time or building on skills you’ve practiced for years, Detroit Flyhouse offers group classes designed to help you learn, progress, and find your community. Our classes welcome a range of experience levels, with instruction tailored to help students develop technique, strength, coordination, and confidence at their own pace.
How Our Group Classes Work
Most group classes at Detroit Flyhouse run in 8-week sessions, giving students time to develop foundational skills, practice new techniques, and build consistency over several weeks. Between sessions, we typically schedule one or two weeks dedicated to teacher training, helping our instructors continue developing their skills and refining the classes they teach. These breaks also provide a natural transition between sessions and opportunities to prepare for the next round of learning.
Class schedules and registration periods vary by discipline and level, so check our current schedule for upcoming start dates and availability.
A Shared Studio, Five Aerial Points
Our studio features five aerial points, allowing multiple apparatuses and classes to operate within the same space when the schedule and setup permit. This shared-studio format is part of the energy of a circus environment: students can focus on their own practice while sharing the space with others working toward their own goals.
Depending on the schedule, several classes may take place simultaneously. Instructors guide their students through the appropriate apparatus, exercises, and progressions, with studio organization designed to support safe, focused training. The number of students and apparatuses used may vary by class.
Find the Right Class for Your Level
