Aerial Choreography Classes

 

Lyra Choreography

This is an advanced lyra class for experienced students. For the first half of the series, each class will focus on a specific theme (particular skill set, movement pattern, etc.). The second half of the series will be run as separate workshops with activities designed to inspire your creativity. Throughout the series, the student will also be working on developing a routine that will be performed on the last day of class. Not sure if this class is for you? Please email about requirments.

 

Fabric Choreography

This is an advanced fabric class for experienced students For the first half of the series, we will focus on different elements that go into creating a routine by expanding on foundational skills and exploring wrap theory. The last four weeks will consist of various movement-based activities to give you a starting point for developing your own unique choreography. Students will prepare for a performance on the last day of class. Prerequisite skills include: clean invert, footlock from the air, and hip key. Not sure if this class is for you? Aerial Dance Mixed Apparatus

This is an intermediate class for experienced students. We will explore different styles of dance and movement on the ground and in the air with a focus on expression and musicality. Expect to learn aerial sequences on a variety of apparatus and explore some of your own choreography. Aerial experience required. Not sure if this class is for you? Please email about requirements.

Hammock Choreography

Obsessed with Hammock? This class is for you! In the first 4 weeks of this class, we will be learning a sequence while in the last 4 weeks we will build upon the sequence to make it your own. The last day of this series is designed to be the performance day, so give it your all! Dress up, be cute, and have fun.
