Join aerial partners Danielle Gamelin and Rae Dudek for a special Duo Lyra Workshop designed to explore the artistry, technique, and connection that make partner aerial work so captivating.
Having performed and trained together for the past three years, Danielle and Rae will share the skills, communication, and trust-building techniques that have shaped their partnership.
Participants will learn partner poses, transitions, and sequencing while developing body awareness, timing, and collaboration on the lyra. This workshop emphasizes strong foundational technique, safe partner work, and creative movement exploration, providing aerialists with the tools to build dynamic and visually engaging duo sequences.
Whether you're new to partner aerial or looking to expand your lyra repertoire, this workshop offers a fun and supportive environment to challenge yourself and connect with others through movement. It’s also a great opportunity for those interested in performing a duo lyra act in the next Detroit Flyhouse showcase.
Requirements: Participants should have completed at least three beginner classes on a bar apparatus and feel comfortable on the lyra without physical assistance.
Please note that there are no refunds or exchanges.
Guests: Due to capacity limits, no guests allowed, only those enrolled in classes or workshops.
For private lessons or parties, one adult guest may attend per group of minors.
