Prerequisites: Students must be able to mount and invert unassisted. Previous lyra experience is strongly recommended, but not required.
Step inside the sphere for a 4-week choreography mini series exploring the circular world of aerial sphere through curiosity, creativity, and movement.
Students will spin, twist, and flow through shapes, transitions, and movement pathways that highlight the unique possibilities of this captivating apparatus. Across four weeks, we’ll build choreography while exploring musicality, fluidity, and creative ways to move inside and around the sphere.
Classes meet on October 24, October 31, November 7, and November 14 at 3:15 PM.
Costumes are encouraged for our Halloween class on October 31!
