Time to clean up your act.
Performance Prep is a hybrid class designed to improve the overall quality of students' performances (think student showcase routines).
We will be using the entire studio for each of these classes, more space, more time to dig into your performance persona!
We'll cover multiple aspects of professional circus performance, such as entering and exiting the stage with intention, facial expression and connecting with the audience, pacing, posture, toe pointing, act development and more.
Students in this class are guaranteed a spot in the February 13th 2027 student circus, 7pm 18+ adults only show. Please come with 1 to 3 minutes of prepared material on the apparatus you plan to perform on.
Fabric, hammock, lyra, trapeze, and flying pole can be utilized in this class however the performance skills you learn will translate to any apparatus.
72-Hour Response Policy: Theater is a team sport! As a professional ensemble, timely communication is vital to the "behind-the-scenes" health of the production. By signing up, you agree to respond to all studio communications within 72 hours.
Production Impact: This window allows the team to effectively manage administrative deadlines, coordinate promotional energy, respect everyone's time and ensure all logistical gaps are filled.
Roster Management: Meeting this communication standard is a requirement for participation. Failure to meet this expectation may result in a performer being omitted from the show to maintain the integrity of the production schedule.
